DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

As an IT Support Specialist, your primary focus will be to provide exceptional end-user support to our users and executives, and to ensure that all staff-facing hardware and software requirements are met. You will touch on many aspects of IT and expertly support a multitude of technologies, with responsibilities including Apple device management (MDM), Microsoft hardware and software support, infrastructure, security, and network configuration and management, plus much more.
In this role, you will be measured on your ability to accurately and effectively resolve and log all tasks and issues assigned to you.

Responsabilités

  • Provide comprehensive IT support for the efficient resolution of user-reported incidents and requests, ensuring related tasks are followed through to completion and resolved in a timely manner
  • Identify potential system or process issues and escalate to IT Manager.
  • Build and maintain user systems such as laptops and virtual desktops, and manage all related accounts (Active Directory, Email, etc.).
  • Configure and maintain other office IT equipment such as video conferencing equipment, printers, routers, etc.
  • Complete projects related to the configuration and maintenance of all user-facing software and applications. This includes researching products and software and their features, providing user training, and managing access and permissions.
  • Continuously review and analyse all processes, procedures, tasks, and outcomes with the aim of making recommendations to improve upon them.
  • Document all work including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to our knowledge base as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service, be a great communicator and problem solver, and use a high level of individual judgment to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
  • Continuously develop and improve your own technical aptitude.

Exigences

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in both user and systems support, or related IT roles.
  • Proven experience supporting a multitude of different operating systems and devices (Apple, Microsoft, etc.), as well as remotely located end-users and systems.
  • Experience with Apple and Microsoft device management MDM, SCCM) and device security/hardening.
  • Experience working with Windows Server tools (Active Directory, Exchange).
  • An understanding of hardware (including storage), virtualization, networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), information security, and enterprise applications.
  • Some exposure to virtual desktops (VDI) in a corporate environment an asset.
  • Experience supporting Telephony and video conferencing systems (VOIP/PBX).
  • A proven track record in providing excellent end-user support to executive-level clients.
  • Ability to quickly analyse complex issues and come up with innovative solutions.
  • ‘Automate everything’ mindset with relevant real-world ITPA experience.
  • Ability to balance conflicting concerns such as security, maintainability, and usability.
  • Obsession with all thing’s tech, in and out of the office.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and urgency to deliver tasks and projects in a timely fashion.
  • Autonomous, detail-oriented, highly organized, and quick to adapt to changes.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work outside of typical business hours on occasion
  • Certifications (e.g., ITIL® Foundation, Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), MCSA, CompTIA A+, etc.) a huge asset.
  • Ability to handle some physical lifting as required.
  • Willingness to handle any other work-related tasks, as required by IT Manager.

Reporting into the Managing Director you will be responsible for implementing and aligning HR goals to fit with business needs and objectives. This position will formulate partnerships and deliver value-added services to management, employees and clients.

Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Roll out and manage HR initiatives and processes that will support the strategic growth of the business and ensuring alignment with the business’s clients
  • Collaborate with managers and leadership on HR strategy and initiatives
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment including screening/interviewing, onboarding, and new hire orientation
  • Sustain an in-depth knowledge of local employment law, compliance programs and stay abreast of current events, policies and offer guidance to leaders
  • Address employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and investigations
  • Support disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans in collaboration with managers
  • Oversee proper documentation and process for terminations, ensuring fairness and compliance; coordination with labor courts if required
  • Support and help manage annual performance review and feedback cycles
  • Manage and track employee leave requests including annual vacation, sick leave and maternity/paternity leave
  • Administer benefits program including group insurance, RRSPs & Health and Wellness programs
  • Serve as a point of contact for CNESST & pay equity reporting
  • Contribute to HR initiatives such as learning and development, culture building and diversity programs
  • Maintain accurate, confidential and up-to-date HRIS data and provide regular monthly data reports
  • Undertake periodical audits of HRIS data
  • Review and amend employee benefits and policies on a regular basis
  • Analyze employees feedback and strategize ways to improve employee’s engagement and needs
  • Dealing with any miscellaneous HR tasks

Exigences

  • Hold a diploma or certificate in human resources
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in an HR business partner
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and French
  • A strong knowledge of local employment laws and best practice processes for all employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances and redundancies
  • Ability to implement new processes and build strong relationships
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive data and confidential information and maintain a degree of confidentiality at all times
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Power Point) and of HRIS systems

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for handling the daily operational activities of the company and its clients, including general communication with and on behalf of our clients, AP/AR duties, updating records and reports and assisting in liquidity management.

The Operations Coordinator will be expected to support the Senior Account Manager with involvement in front, middle and back-end office duties, while building effective working relationships with stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have good organizational skills and be able to handle highly sensitive and confidential matters relating to daily activities.

Responsabilités

  • Manage a database of secure and sensitive information
  • Keep data in a well-organized format aligned with company policies
  • Maintain company and client mailboxes, ensuring correspondence addressed in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist in the preparation of client invoices for review and approval
  • Handle incoming and outgoing multi-currency payments
  • Review aged payables/receivable list; perform monthly revaluations
  • Work actively with clients in resolving payment or invoice discrepancy issues
  • Assist with new client and vendor onboardings
  • Assist with treasury reporting and work with the Senior Accounts Manager on cash flow and financial reporting
  • Keep accurate reporting of reception and movement of funds on a daily basis
  • Assist with month end tasks, including bank and account reconciliations
  • Provide other support as directed by the Senior Account Manager to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of departmental goals and requirements
